This got me a LOT of compliments, and a 100% from one of the snippier teachers in the school. Apparently there's a few kids who "want one". xD It made me pretty happy, I must admit.

Bad photo, the colors are kind of wonky and the detail can't be seen too well, but oh well. COLORS!

And we all knew it was coming... Harak-'Na with those glowy antennae that every creature artist draws at least once.

Chalk pastel on colored paper, 4 hours including planning, swatches, and sketches.

Damn that's amazing! @_@ I adore the lighting and reflection. The glow effect was captured perfectly. Gah, and the composition, anatomy...great, now I'm all jealous. Keep on posting! It's great to see more of these guys.
